 Freeport Zone
Under the Freeport Act of 1992 the Freeport was established as a customs-free zone for all goods destined for re-export and on all machinery, equipment and materials imported into the freeport zone.
The Freeport also seeks to facilitate transhipment which will be useful for all shipments that need to be re-structured prior reachiing it's final destination and we have an array of experienced professionals in this area that can assist you at all time through the procedures.
Regional Logistic Hub
The Freeport in Mauritius is now well established as the main Logistics Hub in the region for Warehousing, Distribution, Import & Exports of goods ( including value added services).
With most of the major shipping lines serving Mauritius with regular and highly frequent shipping connections to Europe, the Far East, South Africa and East Africa, the Freeport is well positioned as a major hub for transshipment and reshipment in the region.
